The folks at Kronosonic reviewed Eta Carinae:
"You've got serious and legit fusion chops on display. And I don't mean that in a Gambale fusion way ... the phrasing is organic and on the edge rather than exercise-based. I could still pick it out of a lineup as a SporeBomb piece, for sure, but for some reason this sounds really different than the ASB I've come to expect. I think it's the great bass groove and real drums combined with the trademark guitar tone and synth pads. This is excellent mood-enhancing music that manages to keep you on the edge of your seat due to the great guitar lines. Again, totally pro chops and phrasing.You gotta feel good about this.
